Find your Host Family on AuPair.com

Becoming an Au Pair in 10 steps:

1. You need to register for free online as an Au Pair and AuPair.com will send you a registration link in order to activate your profile.
2. Once your profile is activated, you can start looking at profiles from Host Families and add them to your ‘Favorites’.
3. You can only add a Host Family to your Favorites once and they will get a standard notification that you are interested.
4. In order to write personal messages with the Host Family, you need to pay for a Premium membership.
5. If you are a premium member, you can start getting in touch with them by sending them individual messages and get to know the Host Family.
6. After exchanging e-mails with your family, you can set up a date for a telephone/ skype interview.
7. Prepare for the telephone interview in advance. Think about what you want to ask and if necessary, note down the topics you want to discuss with the family.
8. If you and the Host Family like each other, you can sign the Au Pair contract.
9. Prepare yourself for your arrival (visa application, the booking of the flight etc.).
10. After you arrived in your host country, your family will give you time to settle in and make you familiar with everything.
